Rushden Transport Museum is situated in the old Midland Railway Station of 1894 which once formed part of the Wellingborough to Higham Ferrers branch line. Taken over by the Rushden
Historical Transport Society in 1984 the station also provides the society with a social club.

road transport vehicles .

2009 promises to be a landmark year for the museum.
In June we celebrate the 50th
anniversary of the last scheduled passenger service to leave the station.
We are once again
able to offer
passenger rides using one of our
locomotives from the station.
