The renowned Real Ale Bar & Social Club opened in the Waiting room of Rushden Station in September 1985.

Owing the the Station's uncertain future at the time the Bar was actually the first part of the Society's activities to open on the site(!)

Our Bar has won numerous CAMRA awards over the years and we currently run 7 handpumps (at least 5 on at any given times, with all 7 running over the weekend) plus Hoegaarden Belgian wheat beer and one lager (for those that must)

It is open to members from 7:30pm to 11pm Mon-Fri: 12noon -11pm Sat: 12noon - 3pm and 7:30pm - 10:30pm Sun

Non- members may be signed in by a member on payment of a £1 day membership fee. This is a requirement under the new licensing regime.

On published Open Weekends different rules apply: we can open to the public without restriction.
