Toilets including disabled access and baby changing facilities are available on site, situated at the far end of the building past the bar.
Assistance/support dogs are welcome, and water bowls are available on request, please be aware that there is a Station Cat in attendance.
Currently the museum does not have items for sale, however on event days the Buffer Stop Shop sells a variety of goods.
Food and Drink:
The award winning bar is available to members of the Society. Visitors can enjoy the bar on open/event days and on other days they can be signed in by a member for a small charge. Please refer to published opening times to avoid disappointment.
The Buffet Car café is only open on events dates and by prior arrangement. However the High Street has several cafés within easy walking distance and Asda supermarket is just across the road.
You are at liberty to take photographs without flash of the museum building and collection at no charge for your private use. Commercial photography and filming may incur a charge so please contact the secretary of RHTS on 01933 624157.
If you are keen on photography you might like to get involved as a volunteer and get to see items in more detail, please see our volunteers page.
We appreciate your feedback after your visit and we will ask you to complete a very short survey form, that you can then post in a collection box.
