ABOUT
The Station Bar is open to members, their guests and general public every day. Our bar is a ‘gem’ located in the former ladies waiting room of Rushden Station overlooking the station platform. The bar is run by a dedicated Station Bar Committee whose commitment to serve the finest real ales has resulted in numerous Campaign For Real Ale (CAMRA) awards, including CAMRA National Club of the year in 2010.
The Station Bar has built a reputation for the quality and choice of its real ales and craft ciders plus wines, spirits, soft drinks and snacks all served in an historic, friendly and olde-worlde atmosphere. We have traditional gas lighting and an open fire on winter evenings. It’s home to Thomas, probably the most famous station cat in the world, whose birthday falls on New Year’s eve. One of the benefits of Membership is 10% drinks discount at the Station Bar, just present your membership card to bar staff so they can swipe it at the till. Pets (dogs on their leads please) are welcomed.
The Station Bar Committee and associated Entertainments Fund hold events throughout the year and make donations local good causes. See the What’s On page for more information.

QUIZ NIGHTS
We hold informal quiz nights every third Tuesday evening in the Station Bar. Russell, our quiz master, hosts five rounds of questions for teams of up to four. Everyone is welcome individually or in teams and it’s just £2.00 to enter. Please see our What’s On page for more information.
SKITTLES
We have two Northamptonshire Skittles tables and a Skittles League Team that play twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays. Teams compete in our dual platform carriage games rooms and the Station Bar put on a delicious buffet for visiting players.
